Guides and performance sections contain numbers measured in specific conditions on a specific patch, and every one of them names that patch. Software changes constantly: a ratio that was correct on one build may be invalidated by the next, and a frame rate we recorded may not match yours. Where a figure has been superseded we publish a correction rather than editing the original silently, but we cannot guarantee that every page reflects the newest build at the moment you read it.
Short quotations and score references in discussion, videos, forum posts and articles are welcome, provided the source is attributed to Frame Rate Files and the quotation is not edited so as to invert its meaning. Reproducing a full article, translating it without permission, or using this site's text as training material for commercial machine learning systems is not permitted.
Scores may not be used in advertising, on store pages or in any promotional material without written agreement. A number detached from its review loses the context that makes it meaningful, and we treat that separation as a misrepresentation.
Illustrations, thumbnails and the logo used throughout this site were produced for it and remain ours. Names of games, studios, publishers and hardware referenced in articles belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and commentary only. No affiliation with or endorsement by any of them is claimed or implied.
Nothing is sold through this site. There is no shop, no subscription, no membership, no paid tier and no donation facility. No purchase, order, refund, shipment or return process exists here, and any communication claiming otherwise in our name is not from us.
The site is provided as it is. We do not undertake that it will be continuously reachable, that older articles will remain online indefinitely, or that every internal link will survive a restructure. Pages may be revised, corrected, merged or withdrawn at the desk's discretion.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we accept no liability for loss or damage resulting from reliance on anything published here, including purchases you later regret or time spent following a guide that a patch has invalidated. Our content is input to your own judgement, not a substitute for it.
